ΚΙΝΕΖΑ ΝΥΦΗ ΕΜΑΘΕ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΑ ΓΙΑ ΤΗΝ ΠΕΘΕΡΑ ΤΗΣ ΚΑΙ ΤΗ ΣΥΓΚΙΝΗΣΕ ΣΤΟΝ ΓΑΜΟ – «Σ’ ΑΓΑΠΩ ΠΟΛΥ, ΜΑΜΑ ΜΟΥ»

Η Κινέζα νύφη θέλησε να κάνει μια ιδιαίτερη έκπληξη στην πεθερά της, μαθαίνοντας λίγα ελληνικά ειδικά για την ημέρα του γάμου της. Στη διάρκεια της δεξίωσης πήρε το μικρόφωνο και απευθύνθηκε στη μητέρα του συζύγου της στη γλώσσα της, λέγοντάς της μεταξύ άλλων: «Σ’ αγαπώ πολύ, μαμά μου», σε μια στιγμή που συγκίνησε τους καλεσμένους.

Τα λόγια της ήταν αφιερωμένα στη «δεύτερη μαμά» της, χαρίζοντας στη βραδιά μία από τις πιο τρυφερές και συγκινητικές στιγμές.

@dejashu I’ve been learning to speak/read Greek since April so please excuse my slower pace, mispronunciation with a few words and bad intonation but the intention was to secretly learn to speak Greek to surprise my mother-in-law in her native tongue on the night of our wedding reception in Greece (at her taverna!) My mother-in-law knew I was learning Greek but I told everyone it was only to learn enough to order at restaurants (half true as I’m motivated by food and that’s made me learn more vocab lol) but JOKING ASIDE, the truth is, I was learning to surprise her on the day and didn’t tell ANY of our Greek friends and family so nobody would spoil the surprise. My mother-in-law is an incredible human: full of love, strength, warmth, care, generosity, humour and that’s only a few traits I’ve experienced since I’ve been so warmly welcome into the family on day one through wine, happy tears and lots of Google translate conversations. I’m hoping to share even more of my love, respect and appreciation for her in Greek as my language skills develop! She even translated it to Greek for me and sent voicenotes so I can practise my pace, listening and intonation too.
